University Study Proves Benefits of Design/Build
A recent Penn State University examined 351 construction projects in 37 states to compare the cost, schedule and quality performance of the three major construction delivery methods: Architect/Bid, Construction Management and Design/Build. While projects built by Construction Management firms took 13.3% less time and were 1.6% less costly than Architect/Bid projects, those numbers pale in comparison to these dramatic Design/Build results:
